Privacy Policy for KitPrep Last Updated: 18/07/2026 KitPrep (“we”, “our”, or “us”) is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how your information is collected, used, and stored when you use the KitPrep iOS application (the “App”).

  1. Information We Collect KitPrep is designed to be frictionless. We do not require traditional user accounts, passwords, or email addresses to use the core features of the App. Display Name: When you create or join a project, you provide a local display name and role (e.g., “Rob - 1st AC”). This name is associated with the actions you take in the App (such as uploading photos or logging equipment) to provide accountability across your crew. User-Generated Content: The App collects the data you explicitly input, including equipment serial numbers, PDF exports, damage reports, and photos taken within the App. Usage Data (Diagnostic): We may collect anonymous crash reports and performance data to help improve the App’s stability.
  2. How We Store and Sync Data To provide real-time collaboration across multiple devices, your display name and user-generated content (including photos and inventory logs) are synced securely to our cloud database and storage provider (Supabase). This data is stored securely and is only accessible to users who possess the specific, secure “Join Code” for your project.
  3. In-App Purchases and Subscriptions We use RevenueCat to manage our App Store subscriptions. When you make a purchase, the transaction is handled entirely by Apple and StoreKit. We do not collect, process, or store your credit card information, billing address, or Apple ID. RevenueCat receives an anonymous receipt to unlock your premium features.
  4. Sharing Your Information We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information or project data with third-party advertisers or data brokers. Your data is only shared with: Your Crew: Anyone who has the shared Join Code for your specific project. Service Providers: Cloud hosting (Supabase) and subscription management (RevenueCat) strictly for the purpose of operating the App’s infrastructure.
  5. Data Retention and Deletion Your project data remains in our cloud database to allow you to retrieve historical logs and PDF exports. You may delete projects directly within the App, which will remove the associated data from our active database. If you wish to request a complete deletion of any specific data tied to your display name, please contact us.
  6. Changes to This Policy We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The updated version will be indicated by an updated “Last Updated” date.
